“What a presence this woman has — and a voice of gold.” — 3voor12
Urita Mual is a Dutch singer-songwriter whose work bridges soul, pop, and rich melodic storytelling. Recognized early on as NPO Radio 2 Talent (2014) following the release of her single “Shine On You,” she quickly established herself as an artist with both emotional depth and commercial appeal.
Her debut EP Building The Dream, recorded at the legendary Wisseloord Studios, introduced a distinctive sound combining ethereal vocals with contemporary pop and subtle New Orleans brass influences.
Urita’s collaborative work highlights her versatility: she recorded vocals for “Blackberry Street” on Benny Sings’ album Benny… at Home, and co-created music with Perquisite for the film Carmen van het Noorden, a project that received a Gouden Kalf award.
Currently, Urita continues to write and produce new music, working on her second EP while evolving her distinctive sound.
